Quiet Systems welcomes thoughtful proposals from writers with a clear, reader-focused idea about everyday technology. We look for useful explanations that will remain relevant and help readers make sense of a real task, choice or habit.
What we welcome
Propose practical, original work about devices, digital routines, common work tools, connected homes or a well-defined technology task. Strong ideas explain what a reader will understand or be able to do, avoid unnecessary jargon and are specific enough to support a focused article.
What to include
Send a short pitch explaining the subject, why it matters to readers and the main points you would cover. Mention any relevant experience or sources you expect to draw on, and disclose any commercial interest connected to the subject. A proposal is not a guarantee of publication.
How to propose a story
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, adding that your message is a writing proposal. Please pitch the idea before sending a complete manuscript; we will consider whether it fits the publication’s scope and voice.
